2. The value of the stay includes:

– Accompaniment throughout the trip with the tour leader (Hamilton Costa)
– Transfers in São Tomé, to and from the airport
– Tourist Tax and Airport Tax
– Overnight stays in the family farm “Monte Alegre”
– 3 meals a day (drinks not included)
– All terrain vehicles and fuel

– Visit to the old colonial farms producing cocoa and coffee, and other points of interest
– Walking and jeep tours through the forest, waterfalls, beaches, capital city and markets
– Volunteering actions in various aspects, throughout the island
– Canoe crossing to Ilhéu das Rolas, where we will dive in beautiful beaches, almost deserted with warm and translucent water, where we will have the privilege of visiting the “Equator Line Landmark”. We will have one foot in each hemisphere.
– Lunch at Praia Café (Ilhéu das Rolas), freshly caught and made by the locals (drinks not included)
– Visit to institutions and communities, where we will interact with the locals
– 1 hour workshop on teas and medicinal herbs with Dona Titi and Gimi
– Guided visit to the Roças: Monte Alegre, Monte Café, Água Izé and Agostinho Neto.
– Guided Tour to the Botanical Garden, National Museum, Ilhéu das Rolas and Manuel Jorge River
– Guided visit to the Mangrove (Malanza River, with observation of monkeys, birds and tropical flora).
– Visit the Waterfalls: São Nicolau, Gueguê, Milagrosa and Pesqueira Beach.
– Lunch at the Almada Negreiros House Museum. *Dinner in a typical restaurant in the Capital City. *Lunch at a typical restaurant on the way to the south of the island. *Lunch or Dinner at Gombela Ecolodge and Farming (all meals do not include drinks).
– 1 hour workshop on African food with Mãe Joana
– One night with dinner and breakfast (drinks not included) in a paradisiacal Ecolodge with a wonderful sunrise and sunset, where we may be lucky enough to watch turtles lay their eggs (from November to February).
– Entrance to a private/secret beach
– Offer of a “Bamu Non?” T-shirt personalized
Note – Some visits and tours may change or not take place at all, depending on weather conditions (eg torrential tropical rains or landslides) and the dynamics of the group. The visit to some of the places mentioned may also not be carried out in case of trips with shorter days.

3. Does not include:

– TAP Lisbon/S. Tomé/Lisbon (prices vary depending on the season and how far in advance you book)
– Snacks and food not referenced
– All Drinks
– Everything not mentioned in the previous point (Includes)

4. Payment of the Stay

– €350 down payment when booking flights, non-refundable in case of cancellation, as long as it is not the responsibility of the organizer (does not dispense with consulting the pre-contractual information and general conditions at www.bamunon.com.
– Payment of the remaining amount, up to 45 days before the date of travel (you can pay in installments).

CANCELLATION POLICY
We remind you that the payment of €350 is non-refundable in case of cancellation by the person for any personal, health or professional reason. This amount will only be refunded in case of cancellation of the trip by the airline or organization. We also inform you that this amount will not be transferred if the person cancels and reschedules a new date. It does not dispense with consulting the pre-contractual information and general conditions at www.bamunon.com.

5. General information:

The official language is Portuguese
Must have a passport valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip
Advisable to go to the traveler’s consultation
No visa required for stays of less than 15 days
Local currency is the Dobra. Ex. 1€ = 25 Dobras

Climate

The dry season occurs in January and between June and September and temperatures vary between 21ºC minimum and 28ºC maximum). Adding to this, add the humidity and it always gives a reel feel of almost 40ºC

Money

You should take low notes of €5 or €10 to make it easier to give you change, which will normally be in Dobras. But the ideal is to exchange the euros in dobras.

Health

I advise you to consult the traveler before your trip. Bring lots of repellent and light clothing. Don't forget to take out travel insurance!

A valid visa is not required if you intend to stay for less than 15 days. Pursuant to the decision of the Government of São Tomé and Príncipe on the suppression of visas, citizens of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP)
